Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Tyler Krofft will be the target of a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans if the Pelicans do not agree to trade him, according to sources.
Kroffts deal with the Pelicans, who signed him to a two-year, $8 million deal on Monday, was announced Tuesday.
Kroft will earn $2.25 million in 2015.
Sources told ESPN New Orleans that Krofftn would not be willing to waive his no-trade clause.
Kroftt’s deal is believed to be for a second season and could be worth up to $8.25M.
Krott has 11 receptions for 162 yards and a touchdown in 14 games this season.
The 28-year-old had one touchdown in six games last season.
