The finance director salary at Apple has increased significantly in recent years, according to an analysis by Bloomberg.
Apple’s chief financial officer, Peter Oppenheimer, was paid a total of $2.4 million in 2017, and his chief technology officer, John Chambers, was earning a base salary of $1.2 million.
The average salary for a finance director is $1,400, and Apple is the fourth-largest U.S. tech employer with 4.3 percent of the U.s. economy, according, as of the end of April.
Oppenheim is the highest-paid financial director at Apple.
He was hired in 2015, according the Bloomberg analysis.
